“At most, a newspaper might decide not to publish such information, but to help jail the leaker? It’s nuts.”

One wonders how it’d play out if the leaker brought the documents to them as a source. Is the glee at helping catch him because leak-publishing is their business? I just can’t imagine them behaving the same way if they were able to boost pageviews, personal prestige, and maybe some awards off the guy.
