I was trying to say that just like hospital staff can prevent getting TB by meticulous respirator-wearing the whole time they're indoors in the face of lots of infected maskless patients, so too can the reverse work with COVID: meticulous (fit-tested) respirator-wearing civilians really do have a chance of keeping from getting infected by unmasked people around them (including hospital staff).
