npub1grx4wzqldf8clxusxpz78adjcukkqvdkhf8amsdhr6sy3ctuu2fqvsuxfe (npub1grx…uxfe) I'm wondering if it'll happen. Not because Meta&Zuck have changed (they didn't) but because of the fear of regulators. They already have antitrust cases in almoat all US states, EU also "don't like" them. And if (big if) they would kill Twitter or at least become leading platform, regulators might step in to split Meta.
Fediverse is only a fraction of percent of Meta users count but they might try to use it as excuse, e.g. "we don't have monopoly, you can use Mastodon to interact with us".
