SUMMER CLEANUP
So I scrolled down & cleaned my list of follows today.
I've found many unactive accounts from bitcoiners that decided to opt-out from Xwitter, even before Elon took charge of it.
Others are no longer working at the same companies/projects they were into when I met them, and now they're working on their personal projects, some of them still undisclosed.
It's been a brutal bear market, so many people had changed jobs mostly due to shortages, but they seem to have realized a job is only a place you go to learn until you feel ready to be an entrepeneur and take full responsability of your income, purpose & means of life, approaching yourself to be a sovereign individual.
On the other hand, even when we bitcoiners love communities & gather into conferences as much as we can, must of us are prone to be reclusive and associal.
And in some cases, like the ones of bitcoin developers or any other volunteering job, you can get desillusioned real quick. I don't blame them.
It's like even when #Bitcoin represents hope in this troubled world, there's always a moment you lose it & start to take life changing decisions according to your newly adjusted vision of the world.
Believe me, I also see things I don't like about the Bitcoin ecosystem, like over compliant KYC companies, state lobbyists, low adoption rate, little support for real bitcoin projects, expensive & flashy conferences and more.
But I've learned to also feel inspired of what surrounds me. My friends, colleagues, partners here in El Salvador, and others in the world doing awesome things.
Sometimes you just have to take a break, have some wine and talk about life with your friends, not only because is an essential part of friendship but because talking all day about Bitcoin is boring and you don't get to know a person just by staying into that topic.
Last weekend I did and felt grateful about it. I'm blessed to be here. As usual, I took a photo to never forget it.
San Salvador sunrise. Raw. No edits needed.
Cheers! 🍷😉✨
