part of me doesn't this kind of excellent trolling, because it contributes to trans people's already immense feeling of persecution and alertness to insult, which is a good 40% of why I find trans people so unpleasant to be around: completely innocent remarks are relentlessly interpreted as attacks.
but the rest of me just read a really good book with too many 'singular they' pronouns in it, and that's 60% of the unpleasantness.
