Here's a thought - an Avian flu outbreak devastating the poultry industry, as well as spreading to humans. Imagine that happening under the UCP regime. Or the incoming US Trump regime, with RFK Jr as Secretary of Health.
I might worry about that being a civilization collapse type event.
