Wish I was on the live for this. Lots of good info. I'm not a fan of super steels, plain old A2 or 154 cm or 420hc works for me. I know how to sharpen and it only takes a few minutes using a leather strop to maintain the edge.

Currently working on hand sharpening my Benchmade which is S30v and it's a booger to reprofile from the factory edge... I like mine more slicy and convexed.

Never thought about sharpening a hoe or shovel! Gonna have to try it!
