If I didn't think in the future I might need to use my Twitter account to promote some work or something I'd have deleted my account a long time ago.

Sometimes I pop in to see if anyone's messaged me and when you compare what is boosted into the feed there vs here on Mastodon it's such a stark difference.

Just mostly conflict and drama, negative is what creates engagement, negative is encouraged for clout.
