Spitballing to make a point: it can’t work in practice. But I think there’s a world of difference between ‘you know what, just putting this out there is costing me a lot. I don’t have the spoons to deal with replies’ and ‘I’m so pleased with myself that none of your replies are worth my attention’.
I think the former needs a no-reply feature; the latter would never use it, because they want the pretty notifications signs to keep lighting up. Knowing which is which upfront would help.
