Yes, I have several themes that I return to regularly my whole life. And then I pick up where I left off in each of those worlds, even if weeks (here) have gone by. Like I could be looking for work in my 1950s theme, and the next time I visit, I'll be having an interview.
I have entire factions of family, friends, and memories in each of them. I've never been sure this is the real me. And whenever I sleep, I usually lucid dreams, so I just "fall asleep" here and immediately go to work living another full life for months; until I "wake up" here. I'm not sure if I've ever actually been asleep for the past few decades.
