As a self-unemployed ageing white dude with shitty hearing let me tell you that splurging on some really really nice speakers for my desk was the best thing I've ever done.

It's so nice to hear "everything" again. Especially the songs that helped me survive the 80s.

Being stuck at a desk is a lot less awful when you have music and some decent speakers. The sound moves through my body with these things.
