I could sight read treble clef just fine; bass was a mystery of staring and looking at my hand. Four or so months into playing consistently—though I am not a bit intermittent with the lessons, need to get back on track—I can more or less sit down and sight read the bass clef and my fingers seem to now magically know what notes to play most of the time.
