Sending email when fridge door open too long is good idea! I think I can do with a mobile notification using Home Assistant… let me set that up… brb!
Of course by IoT in Kitchen I mostly mean timers and energy monitoring. But I love living the “Star Trek life” where lights turn on when you enter the room and turn off when you leave 😅
