After continuing to play it, my praise for it only continues. At one point I was almost disappointed... a cutscene introduced a boss, and I was locked in the room with them. "Oh no", I thought, "is this the cardinal sin of Deus Ex: Human Revolution all over again?"
Since being a sneaky asshole was my whole playstyle up to that point, I stuck with what I knew... I ran and evaded, stuck to the shadows until the boss lost track of me. Then I lined myself up to get the jump on him.
The game had previously informed me that a throwing knife attack targeted at the head was a guaranteed instakill if I pulled it off right, but that was on lesser enemies. This was a boss character, with a name and a health meter on the screen. Surely the same thing wouldn't work here...
Lined up a show and threw a knife at him anyway. Perfect headshot, he dropped dead on the spot. 11/10 game, would recommend.
