Thing is, even the most easy-to-configure webcam is a drain on my time. If it’s battery powered, there’s periodically recharging the batteries. If it’s wired, there’s a wire for the ravens to mess with. And every time I make a change to the network at home, there are more things that need fiddling with. The most recent network changes, I paid a guy to do most of the work, but then had to redo it myself when I needed to add one more mesh node to get full coverage. Bah!
