I'm trying out Lifespan Integration with my long-time therapist. It's weird.
Today was the second session and it was hard. Last time I had built a timeline of my life, and today I went through a bit of it while doing movements with my body.
And .. yikes. I almost don't make it to the end of the session. I guess I was trying to dissociate. What a strong feeling of "not being here", of not catching up with the present, stuck somewhere else. Ugh.
But I made it, and when my session ended, I had this strong urge to do a bunch of sensory stuff to get grounded.
So far I had been doing EMDR in therapy, and I thought it was weird. Well, this is weirder.
