here's a weirdly optimistic thought for my idiosyncratic tech stack: perhaps being an expert in lower-mid-tier technologies such as I am (and, as perhaps many of you are, if you are interested in my stuff, dear reader) will be a big benefit in the coming years. by "lower-mid-tier" I mean technologies popular enough to have a wikipedia page and a big enough community to google for, but unpopular enough to afford a tiny fraction of the training data that "big" tools have for AI
