I made baguettes for the first time (plus a round loaf with some extra). They worked out… pretty well? They didn’t puff up enough, i think because the dough was too wet (one part of the recipe says “add the rest of the water if you think the dough can handle it“; what the heck does that mean? How am I supposed to know?), which made the crust two inside ratio too high, but the flavor and texture was otherwise good. I will try this again.
