I spend more time looking for something to watch/read than actually watching/reading

I would like to see:
- actual character development, bonus points if it's a corruption arc
- competence as in characters never fail to do their job despite personal problems
- fanartable material as in memorable traits, appearance, behavior, dynamics, etc
- zero (0) unnecessary love subplots

Am I asking too much? 🤔
