The Italian government informed Israeli officials that it will not enforce arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defense minister Yoav Gallant.

Italy is obligated under Article 86 to fully cooperate with the ICC in its investigations and prosecutions, including executing requests for the arrest and surrender of individuals sought by the ICC.
