I think people fail to discern the power of a sustainable network, vs the short term apparent growth.
Nostr has a sustainable community, and people are building for it like crazy. Never underestimate the power of those two things combined.
The problem with so many other social competitors is that they never create an atomic network. They just try to get as many people as possible as fast as possible and trap them with algo engagement bait.
This is not and cannot be how Nostr works, thus its adoption won’t look like how platform socials do. It will look like protocol adoption. And we have an atomic network, there is a group of people who have adopted it and aren’t going anywhere, and who will never trade it for something less.
