I was just thinking, what was actually the stupidest job I ever had? And I noticed I had a few, but the most pointless one was as a phone surveyor trying to get people to answer a rigged customer survey from some gas company.

Normally we were supposed to do surveys for academic studies, but to keep the center in business they also took on customers.

And so for three weeks, 5 days a week, 8 hours a day, I called people for this survey. I got 1.5 surveys done in that time.
