Good morning. Another cold one. The bird bath is frozen solid again. There is ice around the edge of the pond again. I hope the prediction of reaching 40F comes true.

I'm sort of going through the motions this holiday season. It's been an unsettled year + 2025 doesn't look to be much smoother. My usual hopefulness is eluding me, so I'm putting one foot in front of the other, waiting for it to return.

In the meantime, I'm grateful for this site and the connections made here. 💗
