So I came out to my mom today and she was.. fine? Like even stoic. I’m still a little mystified because I was expecting more “concern” or “are you sure?” I suppose I may get more of that over time as I kept it to the level of “I don’t think my gender is male” and “I’ve wanted to be a girl my whole life” rather than specifics of what transition will look like, but she told me that she supported me and loved me and seemed to accept that this isn’t just some crazy thought. So yay me! 😊
