Feature Request: Everybody of a certain age limit knows and loves the sound and visuals of a degaussing CRT screen.
There should be a button in the far right corner of the task bar, near the clock, that makes that screen wave and makes that mmrrooiimmph sound over the speaker.
It should be a de facto standard for all desktops, even if they don't have a task bar.
Only then will Linux be ready for the desktop.
