Like, it's so bizarre (but not surprising if you've read a little theory and history) how our conception of what fascism is, what it looks like, really does come down to an idealize propaganda image created by the fascists themselves; Triumph of the Will shit.
The reality tho is that if you study even highly "successful" fascist movements (of various types), they're literally all cranks, losers, grifters, disgraced famous people and assclowns too. Not hyper-competent supermen, but total swine.
