Dear companies who want ME to fill in YOUR form so you can use my product which is freely available already.... please do not tell me your "survey is extremely brief and should take an individual familiar with your firm’s security controls approximately 15 minutes to complete." - and then include a 7 page explainer PDF with the 1/2 page email request..... Then send me a half dozen questions by email.... then a second version of the same email but now the extremely brief survey should take no more than 30 minutes..... and all this time you never actually sent me the survey / link to the survey...
Does anyone else work in #FOSS / #OpenSource #FreeSoftware get these ridiculous #security / #ITSecurity forms from companies? How do you handle them?
