I can’t see Starmer lettering Duffield or anyone else of her ilk near the Equalities portfolio because it’s almost certainly likely to generate conflict and negative headlines when he wants to get on trying to appear as confident and reassuringly boring.
That said I wouldn’t be surprised to see Duffield get some form of minor post so that she can be kept quiet on pain of losing her ministerial privileges- and salary.
