I remember one of the Qs on that US dialect quiz was what you call it when it rains when the sun is still shining.

I remember being, "Who has a word for that?! (Besides Hawaiians, because it's not uncommon there.)"

In recent years this is starting to happen enough in CA that we need a special name for it.

But not, as was one of the choices, "The devil is beating his wife." #CAwx
