Like I said your not totally wrong but letting society be controlled by extremely intelligent people who lack morality can be just as bad. I think it's a tool in the arsenal. It has its uses but not the only tool that should be used. Have you ever heard of "man with a hammer" syndrome?
Charles Munger has a great speech where he mentions this. It's an important concept everyone should understand IMO.
