The only wastewater data collection site in my entire county stopped collecting samples and reporting data last November.
When I called to ask why, they told me that their grant funding had run out and suddenly the dot on the CDC map indicating that collection site disappeared the next day.
I'm guessing they won't be too willing to report Bird Flu for the next few years either.
