When I read things like this I'm constantly grateful that we have *not* tried to add all these things to Bitcoin. I am all for these types of projects, but sometimes (often times), having limitations results in having better and more robust solutions.
The instinct to just add every little feature into basechain ultimately destroys it.
Best to use the primitives from basechain and build orthogonal from that. 10 year old BTC clients who don't care about any of this will happily ignore the "junk data" and continue chugging along....
