the hardest part of of making decisions about my work was always how much do I want it to be "just work", do I want it to be "a career", do I want it to be practical/useful, do I like the intellectual pursuit, do I want "fame" or "reputation", do I just want to have fun, do I want to change things... I definitely came out over the years on the make/do/practical side of things instead of the academic/intellectual/puzzle/thinking so computering is def more my medium and not my purpose
