I've mentioned before that my mother was reading my book.

I spoke with her today. Apparently, she's "not in the mood to read anything right now", so put my book back on the shelf.

Then she says to me, "I made it to page 24, where I found my first error."

I played it cool. "Errors happen in every book mom, even traditionally published ones."

But I'll admit, hearing all of that on an already poor mental health day wasn't awesome. 🥺
