He probably wouldn’t even remember this but at PUBKEY (npub1key…lt3h) around this time last year after a What Bitcoin Did Live it was my first time at an Bitcoin event like this, was recording a WBD pod the next day, some OG’s were in the room and I still felt a bit like an “outsider” as this progressive/left guy trying to kick it with bitcoiners.

Some people online had been really shitty to me (yeah I know it’s the internet). I didn’t know if I could be as public as I wanted to in the space. But Hodl was so freaking nice and we chatted about how bitcoin is for everyone, and about real progressive values, anti-war, and how if people say someone like me can’t be in bitcoin they can fuck off and that they just want people who are different from them to be poor.
