My understanding of IQ and what different levels of IQ surely must be wrong. I had no idea there were countries that **averaged** several standard deviations under the supposed global average of 100, with Nepal scoring the lowest of just under 43!

This is so low that in a population with an average IQ of 100, less than 0.01% would be expected to have less than 43, yet it's the **average** of a whole country? How is that possible?
