Tim Bouma (nprofile…klxl) is hinting at, is one major reason, why we are not satisfied with keeping the publications on media servers or in the ubiquitous PDF collections, or some database, and just referencing them.
We know that this would be the easy-fast route and the one everyone is going to rush to implement. But this will be much better.
