"content": "nostr:npub1fvnu0sh2njsmd5sthft8g79vgtxfs5nzecja8ddnnl0g3kjmvmxsyxsghp The spring balance is a nice simple and easy to use substitute for a proper calibrated balance which is what I normally use in the field - the point behind this set-up is that basically anyone can do it with minimal instruction, we generally estimate +/-20% on observations in snow pits so the temperature is a factor, but probabaly not the most important one! (Getting the tube full of snow can be challenging!)",
