Oh if you want a second-hand story, this very machine was taken to Cupertino and demoed at Apple. The mechanical engineer who took it described the scene to me. "This long-haired guy came in and walked right past without talking to us and opened the lid and said 'this is shit, this is shit.' I was expecting someone to say something but no one did, and the guy walked out, and then they said 'that's Steve.'"
