Just out of curiosity Freya, how much donations would you need monthly to open source this and be profitable? There is LOTS of people in need for a modern level editor. People still use GTK radiant and trenchbroom. An standalone tool with good exporting options could be really craved. I'm sure if you do a kickstarter people would support it. I think your tool fills a good niche.
