One can easily wonder why Neo and his people were not behind bars, as they enjoyed WAY TOO MUCH FREEDOM 🤠outside the Matrix. Imagine how hard you have to fight Agent Smith -the IRS while still in the Matrix, waiting for someone to pull the plug but there is no plug inside the Matrix.
