I think a lot of us (myself included) have gotten caught up in the idea that all chromium-based browsers are bad from a privacy standpoint. I’ve been looking more closely at the work the Vivaldi team is doing, and I’m forced to admit that there is a lot of nuance here, and the experience they are creating is potentially more private than Firefox. It’s going to be a while before Servo-based options can usher in the next generation—we need to open our minds a bit to good intentions.
