Maybe the packages are including all the dependencies. This is how compatible across multiple OS versions looks. All the dependencies are included in the install package.
This happens in Linux with AppImage, Flatpak and Snapcrap packages.
If you grab the version for your specific Linux distro, it's around 10 times smaller than if you get a universal version like Flatpak or AppImage.
