can I set the root password for a raspberry pi by adding/editing a file on the sd card somehow? A friend of mine has a pi running that ha can't log in to anymore (it's a vpn proxy so he usually needn't to) but it makes me a bit nervous to be fair. I want to find the easiest way possible to set a new password without having to mount the linux partitions (he is windows only) or hooking up a screen and keyboard and fumbling with boot options, if possible
