This photo is not good, but I saw this little shrew in this location several years ago. Today it is going back and forth between its home and some seed I just put out for doves.
Northern short-tailed shrew. It's one of the few venomous (but you'd have to really let it chew on you) mammals. Very small and must eat constantly.
