Ok, here's my dumb political take:
Through pure serendipity, I, a USian, spent most of the election race in Europe. I got to meet with people from many different parts of Europe (and outside Europe too!) and it was pretty amazing to hear their perspectives as people from outside the system.
Many are are genuinely afraid of what could happen next. I felt the need to apologize for what's happening and I felt bad that I had absolutely no hope to offer them.
Except for this:
No president in the history of the US has ever delivered on all of their campaign promises. Let's hope it works that way this time too.
