Rondo is the real thing, with a LOT of $$ behind them. They're rolling out industrial solutions for producers that are traditionally quite wasteful of energy & heat, to solar plants. In many cases, a company can actually install Rondo batteries, add solar or wind to their property w/o local grid tie in costs, and even buy electricity on the cheap, when the prices are lowest where they are - such as during peak solar production - store that, and use it later.
