Windchill is way below -30C, so I brought in horses (who usually stay out in the bigger barn) and they are happily eating in a small, warmer barn stall for the night (2 mini horses easily fit in a stall designed for a regular-sized horse). The goats are happily eating in their usual stalls.
It seems that the most important things for keeping animals happy in Saskatchewan winter is keeping them out of the wind, and giving them as much hay as they can possibly eat.
