People who are just getting into witchcraft often ask, "Where do I start?" and they'll get lots of book recommendations, but beyond reading, here's my advice to brand new beginners:
Start by observing the cycle of the Moon. I don't mean researching or anything, I mean literally go and look at it. Watch how it crosses the sky, how it waxes and wanes. Notice where it rises and falls along the horizon. Notice how the nightlife of animals is affected by its cycle.
Be affected by the Moon. Let its rhythm guide you; let your activity levels ebb and flow with each refrain. Join in the monthly communion of all witches by simply looking at its full face and letting yourself be enchanted. After a few cycles you will start really feeling like an actual witch, and this connection will carry you along any path you end up choosing.
