Q. why has there been a decline in Universities offering some core science courses including chemistry & biosciences?
A. University finances are in crisis due to problems with international recruitment (caused by Brexit & migrant 'policy'), while costs have continued to spiral, leaving the most expensive courses to deliver vulnerable when finance directors are trying to control an institution's deficit.
Just one more dimension of the crisis engulfing higher education!
